PTTEP renovates Sea Turtle Exhibition and Hatchery Building for the Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center, Sattahip

Mr. Chayong Borisuitsawat (3rd from left), Executive Vice President, Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, and Assurance Group, PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) presented the renovated Sea Turtle Exhibition and Hatchery Building to the Royal Thai Navy Sea Turtle Conservation Center, Sattahip, Chonburi. The project aims to enhance the efficiency in raising and conserving sea turtles. Rear Admiral Sorawut Chawana (4th from left), Commander of Air and Coastal Defense Command was represented at the ceremony.

PTTEP implements the “Sea Turtle Conservation” project under “Ocean for Life” strategy  since 2017 to support the renovation of office, hatchery and hospital buildings for sick turtles, seawater pump houses as well as equipment and medical supplies to increases the survival rate of sea turtles before their return to the sea. Supports are also extended to the Sea Turtle Conservation Center, Base 2nd Naval Area Command, Songkhla and the Sea Turtle Conservation Project at Koh Mun Nai in the area of ​​the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, Rayong.
