PTTEP Organize a Networking Session for Lower Mekong Initiative Young Scientist
PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and U.S. Embassy arranged a Networking Session as part of the Lower Mekong Initiative Young Scientist Program, which is aimed at creating a network among scientists and researchers in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS). Moreover, Mr.Somporn Vongvuthipornchai, President and Chief Executive Office gave the welcome remark at the opening ceremony at Chatrium Residence Sathon Bangkok.
The participants also visited the Kamnoetvidya Science Academy School (KVIS) and Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), a science and technology school and institute in Rayong Province.
The goals of these institutions are to advance knowledge of cutting-edge technology, foster exceptional scientists and develop academic research in the petroleum discipline. The collaboration is aimed to develop the competency of the young generation in the five GMS countries (Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand) and the United States of America, which focuses on the thinking framework and evolution of science and technology
