Prime Minister admires the first Thai Beach Cleaning Robot by PTTEP and Prince of Songkla University

Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha recently observed the first Thai Beach Cleaning Robot developed by PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) in collaboration with Faculty of Engineering, Prince of Songkla University during a mobile cabinet meeting in Songkhla province. Mr. Siriphong Fuenglikhit (far left), Vice President, Social Responsibility Department of PTTEP, Mr. Prapon Charusalaipong (center), Vice President, Petroleum Development Support Base of PTTEP and Associate Professor Dr. Pruittikorn Smithmaitrie (2nd from right), Department of Mechanical Engineering, Prince of Songkla University showcased the Beach Cleaning Robot during the Prime Minister’s visit to Faculty of Engineering,  Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya.

PTTEP developed the beach cleaning robot in collaboration with Faculty of Engineering, Prince of Songkla University under the “PTTEP Love Sea Love Beach” project to help reduce environmental pollution and preserve the scenery. PTTEP will continue to support improvement of the robot’s capabilities to full-scale development for practical use in the future.
