PTTEP receives Certificate of the first Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER)

PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) represented by Phongsthorn Thavisin (right), Executive Vice President, Technology and Sustainability Development Group, received Certificate of the first Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER) from Sunan Arunnopparat (left), Vice Minister for Natural Resources and Environment, at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao. The certificate was given to PTTEP for contribution to initiate the voluntary carbon market in Thailand, and encourages carbon dioxide sequestration, increased ambient oxygen and absorbed other pollutions by registering the “PTTEP Reforestation Project” in the category of Sustainable Forestation of T-VER early last year.
