PTTEP joins The Crab Hatchery Learning Center opening ceremony

PTTEP represented by Mr.Prapon Charusalaipong, Vice President, Petroleum Development Support Base, participated in the Crab Hatchery Learning Center opening ceremony.    As a part of the ceremony, a number of crab larvae was released from the crab bank of P. Sap - Anan Local Fisherman Group, Hua Khao community, Hua Khao subdistrict, Singhanakorn district nearby Nhoo Island, Songkhla province.

PTTEP provided support for construction of the crab hatchery which later became the Crab Hatchery Learning Center of Hua Khao Community, the only first learning center of Asia that can be achieved by cooperation from community residents. The center aims to create awareness on the conservation of aquatic resources and provide knowledge to the community. To date, approximately one hundred and twenty million baby crabs from the hatchery were released to their natural habitat.
