Thai Sea Heritage Project Opening Ceremony
PTTEP together with Aquatic Resources Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University organized opening ceremony of 2015 Thai Sea Heritage Project under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Wing 7 Surat Thani Royal Thai Air Force Base, Poonpin subdistrict, Surat Thani province. The ceremony had Mr. Palakorn Suwanrath, Privy Councilor, as an honorable chairman of the ceremony.
The Thai Sea Heritage Project under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was jointly established by PTTEP and Aquatic Resources Research Institute, Chulalongkorn University since 2010. The project mainly aims to enhance learning opportunity for youths about marine ecosystem from practical experience and to cultivate them to be aware of marine resource conservation and environmental protection, including development of youth networking in Thai marine heritage conservation at all educational levels.
