PTTEP receives SPE Thailand E&P Awards 2014
PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) represented by Mr. Vuthiphon Thuampoomngam, Senior Vice President, Thai Offshore Assets (right), received the SPE Thailand E&P Awards 2014 from Dr. Areepong Bhoocha-oom, Permanent Secretary of Ministry ofEnergy (center), and co-congratulated by Mr. Ronald The, SPE Thailand Section Chairman (left). PTTEP was recognized by SPE committee for conceptual design of Minimum Facility Platform for Gas Fields in the Gulf of Thailand to develop the most optimized platform that can serve main functions of the conventional wellhead platform whilst also significantly reducing costs. This initiative allows PTTEP to fully utilize our country’s natural resources and better the energy sustainability of Thailand. The ceremony was held at Grand Hall, Plaza Athenee Hotel, Bangkok.
