PTTEP achieves United Nations Global Compact Advanced Level

On 1 April 2015, PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) has received a certification from the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) that the company’s business approach has met the GC Advanced level criteria, which is the highest level of commitment to the Global Compact. Presently, there are 33 organizations in Thailand participating in the UNGC; however, only four of which have achieved the GC Advanced level criteria. The accomplishment is a clear indication of the company’s collaboration and efforts from all relevant. UNGC was established in 1999 with the aim to encourage organizations to be committed to its ten principles wherever they operate businesses. These ten principles have a set of values in the areas of human rights, labour standards, environment, and anti-corruption. PTTEP has participated in the UNGC meeting, the GC Active level since 2011.
