Minister of Energy visits PTTEP’s Bongkot Platform in the gulf of Thailand

General Anantaporn Kanjanarat, Minister of Energy and senior government officials were welcomed by Pairoj Rangponsumrit, Acting President and Chief Executive Officer, Executive Vice President, Production Asset Group of PTT Exploration and Production Company Limited (PTTEP) on their official visit at Bongkot platform in the gulf of Thailand to observe the natural gas production, operated by PTTEP.

“Bongkot project” the largest natural gas field in the gulf of Thailand, located 203 kilometers off Songkhla coast, contributes approximately 920 million cubic feet per day of natural gas or one fifth of Thailand’s gas demand.
