PTTEP organized “the 8th PTTEP Thai Heritage World Heritage Camp for Disabled Youth” by providing an opportunity for 40 employee volunteers as well as outside volunteers to help 40 disabled children from Srisangwan School, to visit Thailand’s cultural world heritage site, the Historic City of Ayutthaya

The participants had a chance to take part in various collaborative learning activities such as visiting the Historic City of Ayutthaya and Building of Ayutthaya Ancient Palace to appreciate the value of our cultural heritage, learned about cultural trails, sightseeing and attractions. In addition, employees also donated some money, necessities, and toys to the children.

This activity is a part of PTTEP Thai Heritage World Heritage Project in collaboration with the Department of Fine Arts to conserve Thailand’s cultural world heritage sites and to recognizes the value of giving under-privileged children the chance of a lifetime to learn about culture and admire its beauty. PTTEP believes that these children are an integral part of our society. This activity is organized annually to cultivate a public awareness of Thailand’s cultural heritage conservation, promote volunteering activities and enhance more learning experiences for the disabled.
