Award and Recognition

PTTEP received Global CSR awards from the 2021 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards for the sixth consecutive year. The awards are as follows;

• Silver Award in the category of Innovation in Community Relations or Public Service Communications for the implementation of the Forest Restoration Project for Eco-Learning at Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park (Khung Bang Kachao) in Samut Prakan Province.
• Bronze Award was from PTTEP Indonesia, a subsidiary, together with related agencies in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), in implementing the Stunting Prevention Program – Collaboration for Better Generation to improve the quality of life.

PTTEP received the winning award of 16^th Golden Peacock Global Award in recognition of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The virtual awards ceremony was organized by The Institute of Directors (IOD), India.

PTTEP received Best Practice Award in Excellence Level from the implementation of New Way of Working Project at the 7th International Best Practices Competition. The award ceremony was organized by the Centre for Organizational Excellence Research (COER).

PTTEP received Best CEO Award in the resources category at IAA Awards for Listed Companies 2020. The award ceremony was organized by Investment Analysts Association and Stock Exchange of Thailand.

The IAA Awards are presented to executives of listed companies nominated and voted by analysts and fund managers. The criteria are based on management excellence, industry knowledge and good corporate governance. These key factors will drive business success and assure sustainable growth, aiding the development of Thai capital market as well as economy

PTTEP received 3 awards in the category of Best Employer Brand for the second consecutive year, CEO of the Year and Award for Excellence in Training from Thailand Best Employer Brand Awards 2021. The awards ceremony was organized by World HRD Congress, CHRO Asia, and Employer Branding Institute to honor Thai organizations for their achievements in human resources management.

PTTEP received 4 awards from the Asset ESG Corporate Awards 2020, organized by the Asset magazine, a leading financial publication in Asia. These awards included

• ESG Corporate Platinum based on the outstanding performance in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) for the eleventh year
• Best Initiative in Innovation for the Pilot Recycled Drill Cuttings Road Project for the sixth year
• Best Investor Relations Team for the sixth year
• Best CEO Award for Mr. Phongsthorn Thavisin, Chief Executive Officer, in recognition of his inspirational leadership, strategic thinking and readiness in coping with business challenging circumstances.

PTTEP received two SET Awards 2020 which are Best Innovative Company Awards from the world’s first Subsea Flowline Control and Repair Robot named “Nautilus” and Outstanding Investor Relations Awards for listed company with more than THB 100 billion market capital for the fourth year in a roll. PTTEP is also honored to be listed in Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI) for the fifth time.

PTTEP received two awards from the 2019 ASEAN CG Scorecard namely the ASEAN Top 20 PLCs Award and the ASEAN Asset Class PLCs Award.

The ASEAN CG Scorecard is supported by the ASEAN Capital Markets Forum (ACMF) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to acknowledge and honor the listed companies in ASEAN with outstanding good corporate governance practices based on the principles of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

PTTEP received Corporate Governance recognition from prominent CG assessment institutions. The company earned “Excellent” level and five symbols of recognition (the highest level) from the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD)’s Corporate Governance Report of Thai Listed Companies 2020 (CGR 2020).

PTTEP has been selected as a member of the 2020 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) in the DJSI World Oil and Gas Upstream & Integrated Industry for the 7th consecutive year, and also receive higher Best-in-class ratings.

Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) are a family of internationally recognized indices that evaluate the sustainability performance of the largest 4,500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index. To be selected for inclusion in the DJSI, companies would be evaluated on various economic, environmental and social criteria. The indices serve as a primary benchmark for investors who integrate sustainability considerations into their investment portfolios.

PTTEP receives CSR award in Green Leadership from Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards 2020 (AREA 2020), Singapore for the implementation of the Forest Restoration Project for Eco-Learning at Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park (Khung Bang Kachao).

The Forest Restoration Project for Eco-Learning at Sri Nakhon Khuean Khan Park (Khung Bang Kachao) is an initiative of PTTEP in cooperation with Chaipattana Foundation, the Office of Royal Projects, the Department of Forestry, Kasetsart University preserve green area in Khung Bang Kachao under the natural classroom concept by restoring the ecological forest, a public park area, a bicycle trail, and a wheelchair-accessible trail, organizing outdoor exhibition for public learning and lastly generating awareness among young people in the communities

PTTEP received National Innovation Awards 2020 in the Innovative Organization for large business category from the National Innovation Agency or NIA (Public Organization), under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

PTTEP has constantly been focusing on innovation management in accordance with its strategy and business plan. The company has recognized the importance of R&D, employee competency management, data management, digital technology, and artificial intelligence and robotic technology, leading towards an increase of work efficiency as well as a preparation to cope with challenging circumstances in the future. These efforts would contribute to the strengthening of national energy security.
