PTTEP received the winning award for the 2020 Role Model Organization on Human Rights in State Enterprise sector from the Department of Rights and Liberties Protection, Ministry of Justice. PTTEP was honored to win this prestigious award for two consecutive years. The company has passed the evaluation criteria of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), which recognizes organizations that have established guidelines for preventing human rights violations, instilled an awareness and responsibility for human rights among personnel. PTTEP also has systems in place to oversee internal departments within the company and a mechanism for stakeholders to voice their grievances.

PTTEP received the LESS Award Letter of Recognition 2020 from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to recognize its contribution to Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO)’s Low Emission Support Scheme (LESS). In 2020, PTTEP reduced greenhouse gas emissions at PTTEP Headquarters and its Petroleum Development Support Base in Songkla and Ranong Provinces by 340,310 kilograms of carbon dioxide equivalents

PTTEP received CSR award for Innovation in Community Relations or Public Service Communications category (Silver) from the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards 2020, United States of America for the implementation of the Crab Hatchery Learning Center at Ban Hua Khao in Songkhla.

The Crab Hatchery Learning Center is an initiative of PTTEP in cooperation with people in the community in promoting crab hatchery to replenish the abundance of the sea and generate higher incomes to the community.

PTTEP continues to be recognized as a constituent member of the FTSE4Good Index Series for the 5th consecutive year. FTSE Russell confirms that PTTEP has been independently assessed according to the FTSE4Good criteria, and satisfied the requirements to become a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series. Created by the global index provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to identify companies that demonstrate strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices measured against international standards. The FTSE4Good indices are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.

PTTEP Petroleum Development Support Base (Songkhla) received an honorable award in Zero Accident Campaign 2020 – Silver Level from the Institute for Occupational Safety, Health and Environment. The certificate has been presented to PTTEP Petroleum Development Support Base in Songkhla to recognize the 2,675,040 hours of operation with zero accident.

PTTEP received the winning award for 3G Best Social Empowerment Award in the initiative of CSR project, Crab Hatchery Learning Centre. The online award ceremony was presented at the Global Good Governance (3G) Awards 2020 in London, United Kingdom.

PTTEP receives two awards at the 15th ASIAN ESG Award 2019 from Corporate Governance Asia Magazine. The awards are as follow;

1. Asia’s Icon on Corporate Governance Award for the 8th consecutive year
2. Asian Corporate Director Recognition Award for Mr. Phongsthorn Thavisin, President and Chief Executive Officer, in recognition of his contributions in enhancing good corporate governance.

PTTEP received the NACC Integrity Award from The National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) for the third time. The finalists were announced at the 9th NACC Integrity Award.

PTTEP was selected as one of the seven leading organizations being recognized for their ethical practices, transparency, anti-corruption as well as their support for human rights and corporate social responsibility.

PTTEP received the winning award of Golden Peacock Global Award in recognition of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives at the IOD’s 14th International Conference. The awards ceremony was held in Mumbai, India.

PTTEP received the Global CSR award at Platinum Winner for the outstanding achievement in implementing CSR Project, the H.T.M.S. Underwater Learning Center Project. The award was presented at the Energy and Environment Foundation Global CSR Awards 2020 in New Delhi, India.

In collaboration with the Royal Thai Navy, Kasetsart University, related agencies, and local communities, two navy ships - H.T.M.S. Prab and H.T.M.S. Sattakut – were laid down in the seas in Chumphon and Surat Thani provinces to use as a man-made dive site and homes to sea animals. This project can also generate revenues for local communities for higher than 59 million baht a year.

PTTEP received 2 awards from Thailand Best Employer Brand Awards 2020 in the category of Thailand’s Best Employer Brand and Best Use of Technology for Recruitment. The awards ceremony was organized by World HRD Congress and Employer Branding Institute – INDIA to honor Thai organizations for their efforts and achievements in human resources management.

PTTEP received 2 awards from SET Awards 2019: Best Sustainability Awards and Outstanding Investor Relations Awards in the category for listed companies with market capitalization of over 100 billion baht. The award presentation was organized by the Stock Exchange of Thailand, in corporation with Money and Banking Magazine. The criteria of the awards include outstanding performance and environmental and social responsibility with good corporate governance.
